Your financial support is absolutely crucial in extending the unique contribution the Religious Coalition for Equality is making in struggle to end discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and achieve Marriage Equality in Washington State.

Through events like our Clergy Colloquies on Marriage Equality, RCE is working hard to educate people concerning the need for marriage equality.  We are also working to educate people about the vital importance of preserving the hard-won civil rights protections secured by passage of HB 2661, which prohibits discrimination based upon sexual orientation.

Through our leadership in facilitating the annual Equality Day in Olympia, RCE is proactive in advocating for the extension of comprehensive civil rights for the LGBT families and individuals who call Washington State home.

Through our networking and relationship building efforts, we continue to seek out and connect clergy, religious leaders, and people of faith throughout the state who share our passion for these issues.

While most of RCE’s activities are carried out by faithful, dedicated volunteers, we still have significant expenses related to website maintenance, printing, advocacy workshops, rallies, and educational conferences.
