Out In Scripture is a resource for you - anyone open to God's voice for today. It is especially helpful for preachers preparing sermons based on the Revised Common Lectionary (a selection of Bible readings for each Sunday). The Bible's not about beating you up, but lifting us all up. It includes the seeds of liberation and justice. You, too, can be out in scripture.

Love Welcomes All
Love Welcomes All is dedicated to "achieving emotional and spiritual health in families with gay and lesbian youth." Discussion of sexuality, especially homosexuality, seems to be everywhere. Our culture is currently evaluating two questions: how should we treat those who are homosexual and what kind of treatment serves society's best interest? Two very different approaches to these questions have emerged. This website, and the associated conference is a response to Focus On the Family's Seattle edition of Love Won Out. We will cover topics that they have left out. We will present the case that society has more to gain from tolerance and acceptance; that this approach is much more likely to produce individual, family, spiritual, and societal health.
National Gay and Lesbian Task Force
The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force , Inc. ("NGLTF, Inc."), founded in 1973 and incorporated in 1974, works to build the grassroots political power of the LGBT community to win complete equality. We do this through direct and grassroots lobbying to defeat anti-LGBT ballot initiatives and legislation and pass pro-LGBT legislation and other measures. We also analyze and report on the positions of candidates for public office on issues of importance to the LGBT community. Founded in 1988, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Foundation (the Task Force) was the first national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights and advocacy organization and remains the movement's leading voice for freedom, justice, and equality. Our Policy Institute, the community's premiere think tank, provides research and policy analysis to support the struggle for complete equality.
